UTAR will be hosting the "International Youth Development Virtual Conference" themed The Role and Participation of Youths in Building Sustainable Cities - a virtual programme aimed to allow the participants to have a clearer understanding on how higher learning institutions can play a role in encouraging youths to work towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as well as implementing the New Urban Agenda (NUA).

We hope to discuss the role of higher learning institutions in the implementation of the SDG 11 especially in the Asia Pacific region. We would also like to provide a platform for students and youths to discuss and share ideas on building sustainable and resilient cities. The virtual conference will be a two-days event as follows:
